    TemREN PRO rotational atherectomy

TemREN PRO is a rotational or directional atherectomy device specialised in the excision of plaque in peripheral arteries, promoting lumen restoration and minimising barotrauma.

    TemREN PRO rotational atherectomy

TemREN PRO is a rotational or directional atherectomy device specialised in the excision of plaque in peripheral arteries, promoting lumen restoration and minimising barotrauma.

TemREN PRO is a front-cut rotational atherectomy device designed for the mechanical removal of atherosclerotic plaque in peripheral arteries, especially in complex lesions caused by peripheral arterial disease (PAD).

Thanks to its low-profile design, direct lesion access, and reduced vascular trauma, TemREN PRO aims to improve both efficacy and confidence in endovascular procedures for the treatment of systemic atherosclerosis.

    Features

    • Front-cutting mechanism: directly targets atherosclerotic tissue at the core of the lesion, reducing the need to pass a guide cone before cutting.
    • Reduced vascular trauma: the cutting design aims to shave the plaque precisely rather than pushing it, decreasing the risk of dissection or shear stress.
    • Low-profile over-the-wire catheter: improves navigability through tortuous pathways without unnecessary friction.
    • Over-the-wire approach: allows stable lesion crossing and precise device alignment.
    • Reduced stent usage: by lowering plaque burden, native vessel patency is preserved, potentially avoiding metal implant use.
    • Optimised physiological remodelling: clearing the lumen restores flow dynamics with less reliance on stents.
    • Versatile indications in PAD: suitable for femoral, popliteal, and infrapopliteal vessels, where angioplasty or stenting is often subjected to high mechanical stress.
    • Complement to balloon angioplasty: enhances the efficacy of subsequent dilation or drug delivery.

    Benefits

    • Enables effective plaque removal in complex peripheral lesions
    • Reduces vascular trauma thanks to its precise front-cutting design
    • Facilitates navigation through tortuous vessels with its low-profile catheter
    • Helps maintain vascular flow without the need for permanent implants
    • Improves endovascular treatment outcomes by complementing angioplasty
