Shun Thros peripheral microcatheter

Shun Thros peripheral microcatheter designed for vascular procedures, featuring a flexible structure and excellent radiopaque visibility.

The Shun Thros peripheral microcatheter features a 3 mm soft tip and platinum-iridium alloy radiopaque markers spaced every 10 mm. The tip includes 3 marker bands that significantly enhance visibility under fluoroscopy thanks to a patented design.

The Shun Thros peripheral microcatheter body has a variable diameter structure that progressively tapers from the proximal to the distal end, facilitating advancement. The catheter’s cross-section consists of three layers: inner, middle, and outer, providing excellent pushability, torque, and support, with a PTFE lumen that allows smooth transport.

Features

  • Hydrophilic length of 700 mm
  • Available effective lengths: 105 cm, 125 cm, and 150 cm
  • Three-layer structure for excellent pushability and control
  • Radiopaque tip with 3 platinum-iridium alloy marker bands
  • Distal inner diameter: 0.48 mm (0.019″)
  • Distal outer diameter: 0.88 mm (2.6F)
  • Proximal outer diameter: 0.97 mm (2.9F)

Benefits

  • High radiopaque visibility for precise positioning
  • Excellent manoeuvrability thanks to variable diameter design
  • Compatibility with guidewires and contrast media
  • Efficient device transport due to internal PTFE lining
