    Extender paclitaxel-eluting PTA balloon

A drug-eluting balloon (DCB) with paclitaxel for angioplasty in peripheral arterial disease above the knee.

    Extender paclitaxel-eluting PTA balloon

A drug-eluting balloon (DCB) with paclitaxel for angioplasty in peripheral arterial disease above the knee.

The Extender is a paclitaxel-coated balloon dilatation catheter, specially designed for percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) in the treatment of peripheral arterial disease (PAD).

Optimized for supra-patellar peripheral interventions, the Extender combines mechanical efficacy with precise drug delivery. Its advanced coating allows for controlled administration of paclitaxel, a potent anti-restenotic agent, during brief inflations, reducing drug loss and maximizing its therapeutic efficacy.

With a technology that improves drug retention at the lesion site, Extender offers a minimally invasive alternative to prevent restenosis after PTA procedures.

    Features

    • Paclitaxel-coated balloon to inhibit restenosis.
    •

    • Designed for above-the-knee interventions.
    •

    • Brief inflation with effective drug release.
    •

    • Optimised coating for minimal drug loss.
    •

    • High-performance and precise PTA catheter.

    Benefits

    • Significantly reduces restenosis in peripheral arteries.
    •

    • Minimises patient exposure to repeated procedures.
    •

    • Improves long-term vessel patency.
    •

    • Rapid paclitaxel administration during inflation.
    •

    • Optimises clinical outcomes in PAD patients.
