Erasmus NC PTA balloon 0.018” OTW

Erasmus is a non-compliant peripheral angioplasty balloon of 0.018″, with Over-The-Wire (OTW) technology, designed to deliver high performance in complex and resistant vascular procedures.

Erasmus NC PTA balloon 0.018” OTW

Erasmus is a non-compliant peripheral angioplasty balloon of 0.018″, with Over-The-Wire (OTW) technology, designed to deliver high performance in complex and resistant vascular procedures.

Erasmus is a non-compliant PTA balloon that combines high pressure with a low profile, providing effective dilatation in severely stenosed or calcified peripheral arteries. Its OTW design with a 0.018″ guidewire enables precise control and excellent responsiveness during the intervention.

Thanks to its cylindrical balloon structure and high-strength material, Erasmus ensures uniform dilatation without overstretching. Additionally, its braided shaft allows effective pushability, while the flexible distal shaft improves navigability even in complex anatomies.

The balloon withstands a nominal pressure of 12 atm and a burst pressure of up to 20 atm, enabling safe treatment of fibrous or resistant lesions.

    Features

    • Non-compliant (NC) balloon for controlled dilatation
    • OTW system with 0.018″ guidewire
    • Available diameters from 3.0 to 7.0 mm
    • Balloon lengths from 20 to 100 mm
    • Nominal pressure of 12 atm and burst pressure of 20 atm
    • Braided proximal shaft for improved pushability
    • Polymeric distal shaft for increased flexibility

    Benefits

    • Ideal for resistant and calcified lesions
    • Precise expansion that reduces the risk of vascular damage
    • Easy to manoeuvre in tortuous vessels
    • High compatibility with OTW devices
    • Optimal fluoroscopic visibility with radiopaque markers
