Vacuum extraction tube with micronized silica clot activator for serum collection in veterinary biochemical analysis. 4 ml PET tube, red anti-splash safety cap. Serum ready after 30 min rest and centrifugation. Sterile. 18-month shelf life.

The silicone-coated clot activator extraction tube 4 ml is indicated for venous blood extraction in veterinary patients with the aim of obtaining high-quality clinical serum for biochemical profiling, organ function testing and serological determinations.

The inner coating of micronized silica acts as a clot activator, uniformly accelerating clot formation. After inverting the tube 5–10 times and incubating upright for a minimum of 30 minutes, complete separation between serum and clot is achieved, ready to centrifuge between 1,600 and 2,000 g for 10 minutes.

Manufactured in impact-resistant transparent PET (Ø 13 × 75 mm), the tube is compatible with all veterinary biochemistry analysers on the market. The haemorepellent black butyl rubber stopper with red anti-splash safety cap ensures quick tube identification and operator protection.

Sterilised by irradiation in accordance with ISO 11137, with non-toxic raw materials certified for medical use according to EU and FDA directives. Manufactured under ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 with CE marking.
