    VACS® II and VACS® III

Balloon dilatation catheter for percutaneous transluminal valvuloplasty, ideal for TAVI procedures, stenosis treatment, and stent placement.

    VACS® II and VACS® III

Balloon dilatation catheter for percutaneous transluminal valvuloplasty, ideal for TAVI procedures, stenosis treatment, and stent placement.

The VACS® II and VACS® III dilatation catheters are designed to offer optimal performance in percutaneous transluminal valvuloplasty. They are used in TAVI procedures, stenosis treatments, and aortic valve pre-dilatation. Equipped with semi-compliant balloons, these catheters can be easily positioned over a guidewire. The VACS® II models offer a low profile for use with small introducers, while the VACS® III models incorporate a reinforced balloon segment to withstand high pressure.

    Features

    • Coaxial design for enhanced stability.
    • Semi-compliant balloon for precision in dilatation.
    • Guidewire compatibility for easy positioning.
    • VACS® II with a low profile for small introducers.
    • VACS® III with a reinforced balloon for higher pressure resistance.

    Benefits

    • Facilitates valvular preparation in TAVI procedures.
    • Enables the use of smaller introducers, reducing vascular trauma.
    • High inflation pressure for demanding clinical cases.
    • Easy navigation and positioning over a guidewire.
    • Options tailored to different therapeutic needs with VACS® II and III.

    Other data

    VACS® II

Thin and soft balloon material to minimise the vascular access profile in paediatric procedures, as well as in palliative or valvuloplasty bridge cases.

    VACS® III

Outstanding pressure and tear-resistant balloon material for rigid or highly calcified lesions.
Improved shaft design for shorter inflation and deflation times.

    Y-Connector

Improved Y-Connector and other features that provide convenient handling and reliability for the special requirements of TAVI procedures.
