Its primary application is obtaining high-quality DNA for <strong>molecular diagnostics, genotyping, paternity testing and genetic studies in animals<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The tube incorporates <strong>1.8 ml of &#8220;Magic Buffer&#8221;<\/strong>, a basic pH solution with simultaneous <strong>anticoagulant, antibacterial and antifungal<\/strong> action that stabilises the biological sample \u2014 both blood and other tissues \u2014 allowing <strong>indefinite preservation without immediate cold chain requirements<\/strong>. This makes it the ideal tool for shipping samples to specialised genetics laboratories.<\/p>\n<p>Manufactured from <strong>high-temperature injection-moulded PET<\/strong> (13 \u00d7 75 mm, round bottom), with black butyl rubber anti-splash and anti-aerosol safety stopper. The tube has a total capacity of <strong>5 ml<\/strong> with an extraction vacuum of <strong>2.2 ml<\/strong>, ensuring a precise sample-to-additive ratio.<\/p>\n<p>Sterile (internally sterile R) with an <strong>18-month shelf life<\/strong>, certified under <strong>ISO 9001, ISO 13485 (T\u00dcV) and CE marking<\/strong> in accordance with Directive 98\/79\/EC.
